That's a Wrap! The 2007 Season is Officially Over.

Thin Air Frolf Club, Rossland, BC - Last Sunday marked the final day of the 2007 Frolf season at the Thin Air Frolf Club. There was a large crew of Frolfers that showed up for one last round on the chains and everyone had a great time. In a marathon round, all 12 players frolfed together marking one of the largest groups of the year. The frolfers were split into a Presidents Cup shoot-out style with Upper Rossland, Lower Rossland and the World all represented. People were up and down, chains were hit but in the end the Lower Rossland Gang made up of T, Peach, Chunk and Bri Bri took the title in a fantastic farewell to our inaugural season. After everyone's last putts were made and/or missed the baskets were unlocked and pulled, to be tucked away for the winter months. With the Thin Air Frolf Club closing, the Campground Setup will be the only place to toss the plastic for the rest of the year. The Rossland Frolf Association would like to thank all of its sponsors and is excited for another great year in 2008.
Winter well, keep the shoulder limber and enjoy the snow!

Rossland's Finest Turn-up for a Sunday Shoot out

Thin Air Frolf Club, Rossland, BC - In a wild afternoon, the four person team of Tucker, Tanner, Devon and H shot a tournament best 5 under par to capture the 1st annual Ross-Vegas Best Disc Frolf Tournament and a 60 dollar top prize.

The event started at 11am Rossland time, with a rules and registration meeting to kick off the event. Six, three and four person teams began with a shotgun start moving around the 18 hole course in a little over 2 hours. Teams were only able to use 6 drives from anyone player limiting the premier players from dominating the tourney. This didn't seem to phase the winning team who evenly distributed their pin point drives across their squad. Newcomer Devon, proved to be a real asset to the victorious group showing that there might be a little competition for Peach in Rossland after all. The team made up of Chantelle, OB, Brian (Nelson) and Trevor shot a slick 4 under par and secured second position with a 45 dollar payout. In what proved to be an exciting tournament moment, 2 teams played a 5 hole sudden death playoff to determine 3rd place. The 2 groups played even frolf for 4 holes with Chunk blowing a par saving putt to give Rawsthorne, Corinna, Jamie and Brendan the final position in the top three and a lovely auto enhancement package donated by the 7 Summits Gas and Convenience Store.

A special thanks would like to be made to the Ross-Vegas boardshop and the 7 Summits Gas Station for donating prizes and sponsoring the event as well as the Rossland Frolf Association Executive for organizing the day. The RFA would also like to thank everyone for coming out, playing Frolf and taking part in this event. As this will be the RFA's last sanctionned event of the year, they would also like to thank all the sponsors, the Black Jack Nordic Centre and the city of Rossland for making the Thin Air Frolf Course one of the premier courses in the area.
The Winning Team - (from left) Tucker, Devon, Harold and Tanner

Remember, keep your discs handy and check the website often for events taking place in the new year.

Im just neat thats all!!

Apparently somebody thinks Im gay or look gay..whatever that means.

Anyways....On a totally different and unrelated matter that I assure you has nothing to do with the first sentence in this Blog. Really it doesnt. I would like to congratulate this years Masters winner...

Jeff Butcher

Congrats on your first Masters. -12 is quite impressive. Its totally too bad Fry couldnt get out for that mandatory Sunday round because he did play really well. We should have been more flexible on that sunday round.. I remeber when we came up with the couple of rounds through the week and then the final on sunday at that meeting and I was thinking to myself thats just not fair but I guess thats just the way it goes. I guess democracy does rule. Anyways.........

Congrats again Chunk!!!!!

Thanksgiving Frolf, Peach's first defeat and the Masters

Thin Air Frolf Club, Rossland - First of all on this day of giving thanks, I would like to give thanks to Frolf and all of the wonderful attributes it brings us. The thrills and excitement of a nice approach shot, the exhilaration of the disc hitting the chains, the ridiculous frustration of hitting the #@$%n light post on number 12 and the moments spent with friends that will be remembered for a lifetime. Thank you frolf.

Now that I got that off my chest, its time to rehash today's frolfing events. With the parking lot busting at the seams and back ups occurring on many holes, the Thin Air Frolf Club was buzzing with excitement. Brian and family were getting in a quick 9; Tucker (who turned 19 today, Happy B Day Tuck!), Peach and Fry were having a $2 stoke play match; Chunk and family joined forces with Knobber and family to snail through a round of 18; Michelle and her crew of outdoor enthusiasts were hooting and hollering at their kids and discs with many others out enjoying the wonderful Thanksgiving weather. Fry surprised even himself today shooting a -2, beating Peach and Tucker while setting his own personal best for the year. More importantly Fry and Tucker (EVEN) both got the best of Peach (+4) handing him his first career 18 hole gross score loss at the Thin Air Frolf Club. Fry and Peach carried on and played a second round with Peach reasserting his dominance with a -4 but needed 5 birdies on the back nine including birdies on 17 and 18 to get by the rejuvenated Fry. A special note must be made about BriBri's beautiful Birdie on 6 followed by a stellar par put on 7. Straight shooting there Bri. Chunk's fabulous 4some cruised around the course setting personals bests for longest round and most time spent on one tee box.

With Thanksgiving under our belts or over them in some cases, its time to focus for the final Rossland Frolf Association event of the season, THE MASTERS. The Masters is taking on a different format this year with the tournament being reduced to the best 3 out of 4 rounds and being played over the course of the entire week. Players must register their rounds on the blog and a virtual scoreboard will be established. Each round must be sanctioned by having at least 2 qualifying members present and all rounds will be played at the Campground Frolf Course. The Masters will be a spring tournament next year so this is the end of a long and confused era. If you are interested in The Masters please register with Chunk (0023). The entry fee is $5 with the bulk of the money going to the winner and the next 2 finishers. Defending champion Kevin "Fried" Johnson is primed and ready to throw his discs at the ground once again this year. A mandatory final round will be played on Sunday morning at 9am. All participants must be there to take part. This tourney has been played for the past 10 years with many of the original frolfers from the Rossland area taking part each time. Be a part of history and register today.

Vote for Impeachment!!!

Impeach!!!!!

Thousands of Disc Golfers from around Rossland will join together to demand the impeachment of Blaine Benner and insist on the immediate end to the bilking of funds from the R.D.G.A for personal use. October 15th is the date Craig Tucker mandated to make a report to the board on the progress of the so-called surge. The eyes of the national and international media will be focused on Rossland, B.C. at that time. In the coming weeks we will be taking out newspaper ads, producing 500,000 leaflets, flyers, and stickers, and setting up outreach committees for the October 15th march in Rossland.

We are making a special appeal to all ImpeachBenner members to make a donation today to help us provide a special transportation subsidy for the West Kootenay Disc golfers who are trying to come to the October 15 march in Rossland. We are hearing from Disc golfers and the family members of Disc golfers from throughout the land who want to join the protest.

Thanks to donations from people like you, we've already been able to place ImpeachBenner ads in the Weekender, and the Trail Times.

2007 is the year for impeachment!

Board of Directors Elected

In the first formal meeting of the Thin Air Disc Golf Club a board of directors was elected.
El Presidente Benner
Vice President Peach
Treasurer Chunk
Director Fry
Director Tucker
Director Rosshopper
Director Bash
Rumours of miscounts and ballot stuffing abound, and there is already talk of impeachment, stay posted for updates as the disc spins.

PDGA course directory

We are now listed on the PDGAs worldwide course directory.
All suggestions to butter up the course description and directions are welcome.
happy golfing,
lance.

The beer container is toast!!!

As of today at 4 pm I have disposed of the garbage can. the light bulb finally went on and I decided today was the day. It occurred to me that this whole thing was getting quite rediculous and mostly on our parts I might add. How many times have we walked by that thing and bitched about it being there? We, me included, were acting like it was bolted to the ground. It was like we were scheming on some big plan on how we were going to get rid of this enormously akward rubber maid container.

Anyways........ I took the empties to the recycling depot and put up a sign that states our policy/philosphy on why we dont have a garbage can.

I also noticed our "friend" out there yesterday having quite a good time with his three friends the cooler and two other guys. The biggest cooler one man can carry too I might add. As he was a few holes ahead of us I had the pleasure of being able to see if he was going to empty his now full beer can garbage can. You like that one didnt you. So as he and his two brothers, darryl and darryl, left he did not fulfill his self proclaimed RDGA recycling duties. So I decided today to strip him of his duties and demote back to just the "shirtless disc golfing wonder"

Goodbye and God loves us all!!!

Even shirtless recycling disc golf guys.

Tucker

FROLF ANYONE?

Is anyone interested in a round at 4.00pm Thursday afternoon? Leave a comment if you are in to it. Also are we going to meet this evening at the GRIND to discuss the political aspect of this association? I vote BASH for President!

Chunk and Fry dominate the Pairs, Peach betters his mark

Thin Air Frolf Club, Rossland - The recently renovated frolf course has housed some very hot play over the past month. RFA members and guests have been tearing it up on the chains and leaving nothing to the imagination. Most recently Chunk (+2) and his beautiful family had the honor of witnessing the course record get a little lower yesterday. Peach played a solid round shooting 2 strokes below par on the front nine and lowering that by 3 on the back, to set the course record at a formidable 5 under par. Peach was pleased with his round but felt that he could have set the bar a little lower. "I didn't putt very well, but made them when I had to" said the 2007 Spring Fling Champion "not birding 9 or 18 and still being down 5 strokes just goes to show that this is just a stepping stone to a great score!".

Last weekend several RFA members casually got together for a 4 team best ball format outing.
Many of the notables were out and playing great frolf. In what could have been the upset of the season, Chunk and Fry stole one from the formidable duo of Peach and Bash. Bash and Peach played well, but found it difficult to break out of their par-like round shooting a respectable EVEN over 18 holes. Benner and newcomer Goldenboy teamed up for a solid EVEN as well, after shooting a +3 on the front 9. H and Knobber struggled to hang around and didn't put up a fight for the eventual winners. Fry relied on his new more aggressive tactics and Chunk, who recently was quoted saying - "I'm back in the game!", played very well making several birdies and more importantly no bogeys. The long time friends combined for a -3, bettering their closest rivals by 3 strokes.

The RFA is very pleased to see that the Thin Air Frolf Course is getting well used. There have been several new groups out on the course and at any given time there can be up to 4 frolf groups playing the newly designed setup. Please remember that we are guests on the Black Jack property and need to respect their pack in/pack out garbage mentality. As long as we keep the course clean the relationship with the Nordic Center will be a fruitful one.

Fall Tournament Proposal

With the revamped course design, baskets and new found interest in the Rossland Frolf course/community it is now time to discuss when we'll hold the inaugural tourney! There are several issues that need to be taken into account prior to making any decisions.
  1. The Masters - time, date, worthiness etc...
  2. Thanksgiving - Johnny Suckhole's unable to get away for a day during the 3 day weekend, family and other celebrations...
  3. Tanner's Birthday Celebration - Tentatively scheduled for Saturday October 6th, 2007, you only turn 30 once!
  4. Snow - my favorite, your favorite, frolf killer...
My suggestion is the weekend of the 27th - 28th of October, taking place on Saturday the 27th. I realize that its late in the year (possibility of issue #4) but it would wrap up the year very well, be the last official Frolf event of the season and would tie in with the whole Halloween theme very well. I am suggesting the 1st annual "Pumpkin Polehole" of "Fall Crawl" or "Pumpkin Pitch and Putt" or "Thin Air Fall Flair" Disc Golf tournament. The tournament could consist of 2 rounds of disc golf with 3 categories - Open, Women's and Amateur. To cover costs and prizes we'll need to charge upwards of $25 entry fee for all categories with $5 each going to the BCDG Federation for insurance purposes. Lunch, t-shirts and a chance at the ace pool would be included.

In order to get this course off the ground and onto the BC Frolf map we need to do this right the first time and get started asap.

Please comment on the times, dates and organization of this event on this blog or with me (Peaches) so that things can start to happen!

Looking forward to taking this thing to the next level...

Thin Air Frolf Club, Rossland - All the blood, sweat and tears have finally paid off and the course has taken shape. The RFA finally has it's very own disc golf course and its fantastic. Throughout the last month and a half many of the RFA members have been working hard to solidify sponsorship, purchase equipment, dig holes and turn a X country ski facility into one of the finest Frolf courses in the West Kootenays. Cheers to the men behind the scenes and the men behind their scenes and the scenes behind their men... you know what I mean.
Let's keep this the finest, most open and well spirited Disc Golf course around!

Peach sets new low, Chunk melts in Heat

Black Jack, Rossland - For a second straight round Peach has run away from his competition this time shooting a -8 and setting a new season low score. Benner and OB played along side the 2007 Spring Fling Champion playing well shooting -2 and -1 respectively. Benner had a seesaw day birding 3 out of 4 in the Alley but taking some costly bogies early in the round. Orion was a steady force birding #3 then parring out 13 of the last 15 holes. Peach was consistently in the fairway and seemed to have little difficulty adjusting to his new long range driver. His 8 under came with a bogey on #15 and 2 missed birdie opportunities in the Alley. The RFA is in for something when this Ottawa native actually puts his entire game together.

Chunk didn't fair as well on this day. #2 started Chunk's slide, eating up his disc left and leaving him a tough par saving putt that was missed right. The crowd could sense Butcher's frustrations on the 3rd hole but everything came to a head on #4 when the one time Masters runner-up jacked his favorite disc 312 feet into the bush, yelling a string of profanities that even had Benner saying "Oops!". From there Chunk was rattled. He finally walked off the course on #13 with little more than a "Let's go Wilson, Daddy's taking a tantrum..." to the rest of his playing group. It has been reported that Butcher dropped his discs off at the Thrift shop and will be taking up knitting to pass the remainder of his days away.

In other RFA news, a foursome of females were spotted playing the Black Jack Frolf course. This rare sighting came with reports of excessive cheering, loud hollars and several birdies. One bystander reported that both Krissie and Tanner shot +10 and were hot to trot. The RFA would like to formally state that Groups of ONLY FEMALE FROLFERS are not a danger and that if you approach them slowly without showing fear that they will likely return in a non-threating manner.

Peaches runs away with "Spring Fling"

Black Jack F&CC, Rossland, BC - On a cool, yet sunny Sunday morning Peaches put together 2 solid rounds of frolf and ran away with the RFA's first tournament of the year capturing the Spring Fling title and $20. Rounds of -6 and -5 were more than enough to take the title ahead of long time rival and President's Cup team mate Fry. Fry struggled off the tee during the second round, posting a respectable -4 but coming up 4 strokes shy of the Peach overall. "He was solid in all aspects of his game. Putting, mid-range and off the Tee, Peach put together 2 tight rounds of frolf." said Fry when asked of the newcomers dominance. "I felt good" said Peach "everything was clicking, the putter was decent and the mid-range and drives kept me in birdie range all day." This was a bitter sweet victory for Peaches after coming in 2nd behind Fry in last year's season ending "Masters" held at the Campground Frolf course. "I worked extremely hard prior to the tournament making sure that I had the endurance to last 2 rounds" Peach replied after being questioned on his unravelling at last year's Masters. "Lifting, jogging and yoga are a daily routine for me since the breakdown." Taking third position was Hollywood Frolfer Orion shooting 3 rounds of EVEN frolf. 3 frolfers were EVEN after round 1 with only Orion able to maintain his 1st round score. Chunk challenged early in the 2nd round but bogies on 9, 10 and 12 shut his comeback down. "I felt great coming into the tourney, beating most of my rivals in head to head play prior to the tournament but couldn't get the disc rolling today." Chunk said that he's not to be counted out in the future but that Sunday was just not his day. Bash, Benner, Knobber, Haorld and Tanner all finished above par and never really challenged. Tanner took the female side of the tournament playing extremely well on the first round but paired up with Harry, Benner and Bash in the 2nd round seemed to rattle the female #1 and she ballooned to a +13. "I was throwing the disc well but just couldn't finish" said Tanner "my score is a little exaggerated as I lost focus after doubling #9 and realized that catching Harry was not a possibility today." Tanner vows to be in the mix at the next event. The next tournament is a match play event that will showcase the head to head play of Geezie and Tucker who were absent from the Fling but will be ready in June for the Rossland Frolf Match Play event.

The Tourney is on!!!

Hey everyone, the tourney at Black Jack is tomorrow at 8am. Start calling around to make sure that everyone is on board. Chunk are you still able to get burgers? Blaine will coffee and supplies be able to be had? Fry can you bring your basket? Can someone call Knobber and Rawsthorne? Scotty? Anyone else that is in to playing? The weather might be suspect but we've played in a bit of rain before and we can do it again. Call me if there are any issues...362.9042

On another note, Chunk seems to think that his game is back on... So it looks like there might be a little of the shit talk happening out there. Benner has new discs and is ready to strike, fry is always silky smooth, Knobber is steady and can suprise anyone, Tucker and Geez are playing SOFTball (weren't a real threat anyway) and then there is the PEACH! What can I say? Low scores, smash talk Frolf is what I'm bringing... BEWARE.

Only 2 Days Away...

With the tourney only 2 days away it's time to get serious.

  • First, The tourney will be using an alternate tee on number 9. After finishing number 8 go back up the road away from the original tee and pin. The alternate tee is set up with rocks and offers a super long Left to Right shot that carries the entire dip. Also there is a hole number 3 now. The tee is very obvious after completing number 2 and the hole is through the gap on the right (short left to right shot necessary). Try these new shots out before the tourney.
  • Second, Please be at the course by 3.00pm on Sunday to allow for groups to be formed. Bring your own beers and 5 dollars. One dollar will be put in an ACE KITTY. This will be split up amongst the players that ace holes during the tournament.
  • Third, the tourney will be limited to 2 rounds. After completing the 1st round the 4-somes will be reshuffled by score. The highest scores will tee off first with the lowest 4 players making up the final grouping. The purse will be split up amongst the top 3 players, the acers and a couple of special prizes for closest to and most bizarre shot.
  • Blaine, is it possible to bring your BBQ? Chunk don't forget the Cooler with ICE, the Hamburger Items and the White Board. I will get drinks/chips from Ferraros.

Please feel free to invite anyone interested in the game and call me if there are any problems, concerns or ideas that you have for the tourney. (362.9042)

Ciao,

Rain, Rain Go Away...

Multiple Choice

You know that a Frolfer is keen when:
a) he makes 6 calls to try and get a game off the ground on a rainy day
b) he goes to the course and is shut out due to wetness and construction
c) he goes back to the course 3 hours later to try and "fit one in..."
d) all of the above

Correct response... d

Well that was my yesterday in a Nutshell (not really in a nutshell as I am 6'1" and wouldn't fit in any nutshell I've ever seen, unless that nut was huge and then it would probably be in a museum or something). When they finally got out there for a 6.30pm tee off Tucker, Blaine, Fry and Peach were ready to make things happen. They decided to play a little different match, bringing in the "Lone Wolf" game. Due to lack of mathematical skills, and/or an abundence of safety meetings the boys lost track of the Wolf scores and settled into the game at had... getting Benner's #1 tag.

Peach went out with a bang. Birdies on 5 of the first 6 rushed him into the lead. Fry was putting like a champ and was close behind at -3 after the first 6 holes. Benner was up and down and hoovering aroung par, finishing +1; with Tucker reverting to his ultra conservative alter ego, Chris, blowing up for a +5. When the match was drawing to an end Peach birdied 17 to pull with in one stroke of Fry's -7. Peach hit the smallest branch off the 18th Tee and pretty much ended his chances at winning outright. Fry calmly rocked up and BAM hit a small branch and gave P a window of oppurtunity. The window was painted shut or broken or dirty or whatever... Both made par and Fry, with his ultra putting skills, regained the #1 status.

Today's Scouting Report

Tucker - needs to get back to his creative self and make things happen. Too Conservative.
Benner - New Discs. End of Story.
Fry - If he starts getting the drives going...course records look out!
Peach - Off the Tee, the fruit is on his game but... "Drive for Show. Putt for Dough!"

Monday Afternoon at the Links

Benner, Peach and Bash battled it out on the links at Eagle Ridge in a eventful yet mediocre round. Bash who hadn't tossed a disc since arriving back from the good life a Mike Wiegles, played a superb round shooting +2 while carding 2 doubles and possibly a triple. He was steady on the rest making a fantastic birdie put on 17 to steal honours for the last tee. Benner and Peach were up and down both carding a double in the mix and ended up on the 18th with Benner (current #1 tag) at -4 and Peach at -2. The round seemed as good as over with Peach conceding the match stating "Well let's see something exciting here since the game is over!" Benner subsequently stepped up and tossed, what was supposed to be a S bend out into the soccer field, a nasty left to right nearly 20 yards to the right of the new "RV" and into the marshy area. The door was open. Peach coolly knocked one into the soccer field thinking par can force a playoff. Benner rallied with a huge hammer and followed with a weak backhand that barely made the left bank. Peach lying 2 to the bank waited his turn. Benner hit a branch and was lying 4 to Peach's 2. Benner then gets up and throws for his 5 getting it to within a gimmie and salvaging a 6. One would think that Peach would safely make par and force the playoff. Well on a day where the Peach's putter was pretty much non existent nothing was for sure. After a weak putt/approach P was left with a 15 footer to force a playoff. Let's just say that Benner still has the #1 tag.

Did I mention Bash threw the disc well?

Saturday's Battle at The Links of Eagle Ridge

On Saturday, eight of Rossland's best, met up the Links of Eagle Ridge for the largest showing of RFA members this season. The round started as usual with several of the players taking part in the ritualized pregame stretch and child round up. With 8 players to get off the first box and many eyes on each player's drive, the tee shots were far from stellar. Geezie went deep (as usual) and toyed with the water, with everyone else just trying to get their discs in play. Knobber's tee shot was the best of the bunch and as they say "They're off!" Geezie and newly self-crowned king of Swing, Tucker, jumped out to an early lead with everyone hovering just over par. Peach knew that he just needed to keep the leaders within 3 or 4 strokes and he would be able to challenge when the time came. Tucker's dominance was short lived. He struggled with the new plastic and even was overheard saying "These new discs suck!" He dropped back and was out of contention early. Chunk's recent struggles continued. He was left when it was a dog-leg right; he was deep when it was a lay-up, he layed up when clearly he should go for it... well you're starting to get the picture. Chunk was obviously rattled and the saftey meetings didn't help. Rawsthorne and Knobber were the "Steady Eddies" of the group. They were quietly hanging around par and if it wasn't for "Ok, where is everyone at here?" They may have covertly slipped into a challenging role. But once the scores were published and the Duo of Dads were exposed, the pressure was too much and they dropped to wayside. Tanner, the reigning RFA female #1, kept it together on the front nine. While the likes of Andre (nice to see the Bush Pig out on the Frolf course) and Tucker were several strokes over par, Tanner was smoothly playing to a +1. Unfortunately for the Michelle Wie of the Frolfing scene, the wheels came off and a few triples screwed the pooch for the overall score. All that is left is to find out how this debaucle ended. Well here it is: Chunk blew up, Tucker bounced a roller into the bike park, Andre was trying to plant and replant trees everytime one was in his way, Geezie's bro was learning the ropes, the Dads ended up above par, and Tanner was a girl... where does that leave us? Oh ya Geezie and Peach... Let's just say the crafty veteran (Peach) smoothly cruised along to a -3 and the victory, while Geezie's booming drives resulted in little more than salvaged bogeys and broken hearts...

A little foreshadowing of the beat down that the Fruitman is going to put on all of you!

Tucker and Fry battle it out @ the campgrounds. Windy conditions, hot putting, tied at -6. Tucker blows a tire on last three holes. fry finishes -4 , tucker-2.
Peach- congrads on the house, how about a quickie (door opens) at the campgrounds around 10:30-11. I think we will be playing black jack exclusively soon, maybe we should rock the grounds while we still can.
fry.

Is this who we look like?

Check out this Will Ferrel Video

New Kid on the Block

I also took down the 3 of the top 4 seeds seeds back to back to back. Stomps Fry with a 3 shot win and hammers Geeze by 5 strokes to retain the 3rd tag. Damn........

Tucker gets called into work tomorrow. sorry guys. im out for blackjack. you'll have to wait to steal my number one tag, im mean 3rd tag. sorry im getting ahead of myself. not really.

Hail the new "Queen" or king...

In a recent surge of top notch play, Tucker has established himself as a force to be reckoned with on the Rossland Frolfing scene. His past rounds of -3 then -4 have grabbed him the 3 seed overall and honours on the first tee. His play might look a little unorthodox (wobbly flick on the 3rd, S bend on the 16th) but the scores don't lie. Tucker recently was heard saying "I'm just feeling comfortable with all of my discs." He was also heard saying "...no, no the rash is clearing up and I can sit for longer periods of time now!" Regardless of the health issues, woman problems and wobble on the flick, Tucker is here to play.

Oh and Chunk was +7 with 4 to play and left saying "I don't care about this stupid game, Jenn said I've got to be home at 6.30 pm, so I quit!"

Note: Fry, Tucker and I are heading to Black Jack tomorrow to break that shit in. Call one of us to get in on the action!

The Shank

Shank v. [Shang-k]
  1. to hit (a golf ball or shot) with the extreme heel of the club so that the ball goes off in an unintended direction; also : to kick (a football) in an unintended direction. Damn Johnson, you shanked your 9 iron.
  2. to throw a disc in the complete opposite direction than originally intended. Rowethorne shanked his drive on #1.
